I originally studied fashion and textiles at Middlesex University in London and spent my early career designing fabrics which were used by many high street fashion stores in their women collections. I later moved into illustration work designing all things from mugs to jigsaws for many major companies worldwide. In addition to my commercial work, I have recently taken up lino cut printing, which I love. I have joined Sudbourne Park Printmakers, which is a collective of 30 printmakers.
It’s a wonderfully refreshing change to produce individual hand printed images. Each one is unique with its subtle variations in colour and texture. I only produce a very limited number of each print and I particularly enjoy creating prints of the local Suffolk countryside.
